Outing August 27th

Here's the information I've gathered so far about the youth outing this weekend:

We'll be going to the Providence Place mall, leaving - note: leaving - the church at 10:00 am and returning at around 3:00 pm. Bring money for food and anything else you want.

So what's being planned, what are we doing, or . . . are we doing anything? Good questions.

Charge to the Retreat

Okay, here's the content of a recent announcement from the powers-that-be. There will be a youth retreat (at the church, presumably) on November 18th & 19th. Keep an eye out for the official announcement and stick around for info about the special event on August 27th! Rumor has it involves a mall . . .

Unofficial Revival

Several of the young men in the youth group have planned a prayer meeting this Friday, August 19th. This is not an official event, but I figured there was no harm in mentioning it here. The stated purpose is to hold monthly prayer meetings until the youth group doubles, facilitating the revival God is bringing to New England.

We will be meeting for this guys' prayer meeting at Bishop Hanson's house. If you'd like to attend, send me an email at grayman32001@yahoo.com and we'll see about getting you there.
